Hotel Victory: this tribute to the conclusion of the 1998-1999 war even has a miniature Statue of Liberty watching over Prishtine and Kosovo.

Arber asked:
are you sure that's a mini "statue of liberty"? I thought that was a central heating chimney for some of the private residences in the neighbourhood.
If you click on the photograph and see it in the large format, look right of the central heating chimney and you may just be able to make out the red and blue sign with the hotel's name on (you should at least be able to make out "victory" on the right). Behind or above that, you will see a miniature Statue of Liberty. If it isn't clear, if you download it and expand it more than blogger will allow, then you will be able to see that it is indeed a Statue of Liberty, although I can perfectly understand thinking I'd made a mistake given the chimney looms far larger in the photo than the statue - and given all of the other errors I've made that I've become aware of.

  2. I would like to comment on the very 1st pic of you. NO CHURCH. I am busy and have no time to comment on other pics as well but i would kindly ask you not to give comment without at least some research on the stuff around here. It says no church on the wall of the building used to be a school not because it is facing the church but it was a decission from the gov*t to destroy the school building and then build a cathedral on that part of the town, city centre.
